Mark Your Calendars! First-Ever MMOPA Safety Stand Down Scheduled for Oct. 12

Simultaneous events held at 7 locations in the United States

For the first time ever, MMOPA is sponsoring a nationwide Safety Stand Down event.

The event is free to MMOPA members, their pilot guests and those interested in the PA46. Each event will be led by an MMOPA-endorsed CFI who will provide high-quality ground instruction on critical safety information related to operating the PA46.

The Oct. 12 Safety Stand Down will be held at the following locations:

NORTHEAST: Marshfield Municipal Airport-George Harlow Field (KGHG)
MID-ATLANTIC: Cobb County International Airport (KRYY)
SOUTHEAST: Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE)
UPPER MIDWEST: Anoka County–Blaine Airport (KANE)
MIDWEST: Council Bluffs Municipal Airport (KCBF)
SOUTH-CENTRAL: Cherokee County Airport (KJSO)
WEST: Albuquerque International Sunport (KABQ)
SOUTHWEST: Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport (KMYF)

MMOPA encourages pilots to flight train with the host CFI on the days prior to and after the Safety Stand Down where you will gain a deeper understanding of the unique capabilities, limitations and characteristics of your PA46.

This event will count as a supplemental training event toward your Master Aviator Program qualifications.

Lunch will be provided. You must register to participate HERE.

You owe it to yourself, your family and everyone who flies with you to spend a day expanding your knowledge. Don’t pass up this opportunity to make yourself a safer, more informed pilot.
