Piper M-Class Flight Instructors
The PMOPA Safety & Education Foundation (PMOPA SEF) announced its new flight instructor recognition program at the 2024 PMOPA Convention in Austin, TX. PMOPA endorses the work of the PMOPA SEF to enhance training and improve safety in the Piper M-Class fleet. The M-Class Standardized Instructor Pilot (MSIP) Program was developed to facilitate:
1. Uniform standards that promote predictable and high-quality training for PMOPA members;
2. A transparent framework that encourages flight instructors to enter and/or remain in the M-Class instruction marketplace; and
3. A quality assurance framework that PMOPA can use to engage with the M-Class aircraft insurance market.
