Registration

How can I register to attend the Convention?

What are the registration fees?

PMOPA offers discounts for members and their companions. Attendees are strongly encouraged to register early and the best pricing is available to members who register by August 31, 2024. How can I change my selections when I registered (e.g., add or delete golf or companion activities, or change arrival date/time)?

I've already registered myself and now would like to bring my companion. How can I change my registration to add my companion?

Several of us co-own our airplane. Can I register each other co-owner as a companion?

 

No. The companion rate is intended for spouses, significant others, or a child, but not for other PA-46 owners/pilots. Each owner/pilot should register as an individual attendee. If the individual is not a member of PMOPA, you may register them as your Guest at the non-member registration fee. Return to the Top of the FAQs Page

 

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

The PMOPA Board of Directors has implemented the following cancellation policy:

Cancellation Submitted in Writing by:
September 1, 2024 - 90% refund
October 1, 2024 - 50% refund
October 15, 2024 - no refund
No show, or cancellation not submitted in writing - no refund

Hotel

Where will the Convention be held? 

The PMOPA Convention will be held in the JW Marriott Austin hotel located in downtown Austin, TX. There are some scheduled off-site activities (e.g., golf tournament, companion tours) which will start/end at the JW Marriott Austin and, when necessary, PMOPA will provide transportation to these activities.

Does PMOPA have a discounted room block for Convention attendees?

Yes, PMOPA has negotiated a discounted room rate of $289/night plus applicable taxes (currently 17.614%). The room block will be open until Wednesday, October 9, 2024 or until it fills up. If you are unable to get a room in the PMOPA block, please let us know what date(s) you are unable to reserve a room and we will work with the hotel to try to get you into our block. Airport & Transportation

Will PMOPA provide transportation between the airport/FBO and the JW Marriott Austin hotel?

Yes, PMOPA will provide shuttle transportation between the FBO and the JW Marriott Austin during specific hours on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. When registering, attendees will be asked to provide their anticipated arrival date and time so that we can ensure adequate bus quantities.
